Turning Pink with Purpose: CityGate Hospitality’s October Initiative

This October, CityGate Hospitality is turning Pink with Purpose in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our restaurants, lounge, café, hotel, and spa will feature special offerings that do more than delight—they give back. From signature cocktails to cozy mochas, every pink purchase supports a meaningful cause that helps those in need.

Supporting a Local Mission: Bringing Joy

At the heart of this initiative is Bringing Joy, a Naperville-based charity dedicated to delivering comfort care bags to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. These bags include essentials such as cozy blankets, skincare products, and uplifting notes, reminding patients that their community cares.

In 2022 alone, Bringing Joy provided over 500 care bags to cancer patients. Each specialty cocktail poured and every dessert plated contributes to these thoughtful gifts, transforming simple purchases into symbols of support and hope.

Pink Fridays: Our Team Goes Pink

Every Friday in October, the CityGate Hospitality team unites for Pink Friday—wearing varying shades of pink to support breast cancer awareness. Associates across departments incorporate pink ties, scarves, and accents in their uniforms. This initiative brings smiles, sparks conversations, and encourages guest participation in our pink-themed offerings. • Stay for a Cause: Visit Hotel Arista and turn your getaway into something greater. With every booking, $25 is donated to Bringing Joy, supporting local cancer patients in their healing journey.
