At CityGate Hospitality, we recently participated in a heartwarming event, Loaves & Fishes: Night to End Hunger, hosted at our Hotel Arista. This gathering united members of our community around a shared goal: to end hunger and support local families in need. The need for community-led efforts has never been more pressing, and we were honored to play a role in such a meaningful evening.
A Night to Remember
The Night to End Hunger was more than an event—it was a true celebration of community spirit and shared commitment. We welcomed local leaders, volunteers, and advocates, all passionate about creating change in our neighborhoods.
As proud hosts, we were honored to provide a venue that encouraged these important conversations and connections. The evening was filled with energy, joy, and an inspiring sense of unity as stories were shared and partnerships formed.
Most importantly, the event raised an incredible $430,000 to support families facing food insecurity. This generosity will make a real difference in the lives of thousands of local families, demonstrating the impact we can achieve when we come together. Witnessing the compassion in the room was truly heartening—and a moment we will carry forward in our ongoing partnership with Loaves & Fishes.

Volunteering with Purpose
In the weeks leading up to the event, our CityGate Hospitality team also had the privilege of volunteering at Loaves & Fishes. This hands-on experience gave us a deeper understanding of the immediate impact of their work. From sorting and packing to helping with distribution, each team member took pride in contributing to such a vital resource.
These moments reminded us that service is more than what we do in our hotel and restaurants —it’s who we are. Partnering with organizations like Loaves & Fishes allows us to give back to our community in meaningful ways.

The Importance of Community Engagement
Community engagement is at the heart of our mission at CityGate Hospitality. Through CityGate Cares, our formal community involvement initiative, we are committed to giving back with time, compassion, and meaningful action.
From volunteering at Loaves & Fishes to creating Mother’s Day baskets for Mutual Ground, supporting families at Hesed House, and building bikes for Toys for Tots, our associates rally around a shared belief: caring for our community isn’t an occasional act—it’s who we are.
Supporting local organizations does more than provide meals or donations—it strengthens the very fabric of our neighborhoods. Each small act of kindness creates a ripple effect, reminding us that together, we can uplift families, inspire hope, and honor the dignity of every individual we serve.
Moving Forward Together
Reflecting on these experiences fills us with both gratitude and determination. At CityGate Hospitality, we remain dedicated to uplifting those in need and to continuing our support of Loaves & Fishes in their vital mission.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the Night to End Hunger a success and to the Loaves & Fishes team for their tireless work. Together, we are making meaningful progress toward building a hunger-free community.
And we invite others to join us—whether through volunteering, donations, or simply raising awareness. Every effort matters, and together, we can create a brighter, stronger future for all..
